I've always been curious about people… seeking to understand how they behave, the relationships they have, and how each person contributes to the world we live in. This curiosity lead me to pursue a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Human Relations from St Cloud State University. I landed my first HR job at a large casino with five restaurants, a hotel and event center, a full gaming floor and the back of house staff that made it all come to life. A few years learning about a complex organization, recruiting new talent & onboarding new employees and I was hooked!
I spent the last 15+ years working for Fortune 300 Companies in helping them to do more with less, achieve their business goals, and ultimately align their talent with the direction of the organization. From the U.S. to Europe, Sales Training to Leadership Development, Process Improvement to Strategy Development Sessions - it's been an exciting adventure! Helping others to solve their "people puzzle" is what I love!
Other passions in life include spending time outdoors with friends and family… likely at a concert, playing tennis, kayaking, camping or enjoying good food!
My mission in life is to help organizations, teams and individuals realize their potential; both understanding what they are capable of and making it a reality. I am a strategy and organizational development professional with 15 year’s progressive experience leading organizations through addressing their most complex opportunities.
My expertise in strategy, learning, organizational development, change and project management make me uniquely qualified to collaboratively build the right strategies and execute them to best achieve organizational objectives.
I have a BA in International Relations from St. Cloud State University and MS in Training & Performance Improvement from Capella University.
I love to spend free time at our cabin in northern MN or on adventures with my family. An avid reader, I can often be found buried in a book and love to zone out with an audio book or great podcast while I walk my dog!
